Everyone's neck and wrist size varies, and there are numerous length styles to consider especially when layering jewelry. Or when choosing it for a specific occasion or outfit. So it's important to measure first and determine exactly which length will work best for YOU. I promise it's worth the little time and few steps it takes!
. grab a measuring tape or ruler + a string, ribbon, or yarn
. wrap the string comfortably around your neck or wrist and decide where you want the necklace or bracelet to rest
. once you've determined your ideal position, that will be your length to measure in inches
. when choosing the perfect bracelet size it's often recommended to add a half inch to the measurement for toddlers, and add one inch to the measurement for teens and adults in order to ensure a comfortable fit
. remember jewelry lengths are measured from end to end, and the clasp is included in that length
